Grand Ballrooms 5-10 - 3:15pm - 4:15pm Moderated by Susan Patrick, iNACOL President and CEO
Online and blended learning is providing new individualized and personalized educational opportunities for students. The Virtual School Symposium is dedicated to providing leadership and support for experts in K-12 education to create new models of student-centered, next generation learning. We dedicate this closing session to hear how online learning directly benefits students and what we can do to improve our efforts. Student panel members offer their perspectives on how online learning is meeting their needs. Without calling attention to particular panelists, we want to emphasize that students represent a diverse array of individual student perspectives — students in need of recovering credits, students who are or were at risk for dropping out without graduating, students seeking to take more advanced courses, and students seeking more personalize learning experiences tailored to their own individual needs. If you have questions for the panelists, please write them on the paper provided and we will collect them for facilitation.
